Maintain data once — deliver to every customer.

Cell, BMS, electrolyte, separator, housing and raw-material suppliers get asked the same questions every shift — every time in a different Excel template. Batteriepasswerk turns the spreadsheet ping-pong into a controlled self-service.

The reality

Six topics clogging the supplier business today.

01
Every customer, a different schema

Excel from an EV maker, PDF form from a BESS customer, online form from a storage OEM. Per customer the same answer is asked for in a different shape.

02
Annex X reaches down to the mine

Due-diligence requires origin and risk analysis down to tier 2/3. Manufacturers often delegate that one-to-one to you.

03
Confidential recipes

You want to disclose regulatory fields without giving away your commercial margin in datasheets. Visibility must be controllable per customer.

04
Versions without confusion

Datasheet rev. 3 was shipped two months ago — is it still current? Was rev. 4 released to all customers? Version control is mandatory.

05
Audit trail over ten years

Which data version was shared, when, with which customer? Whoever can answer has the calmer audit day.

06
Your own passports if you place on the market

If you sell components under your own brand, you need not just data — you need your own passports including QR.

What the regulation requires from suppliers

Indirect — but unmistakable.

Art. 7 + Annex X

Data for due diligence

If your customer falls under Annex X, you need solid origin and risk documentation for lithium, nickel, cobalt and graphite.

from 18.08.2027
Annex XIII · data fields

Material and component fields

Chemistry, share by mass, safety information, LCA — structured per DIN DKE SPEC 99100 so your data fits every passport.

from 18.02.2027
Contractual

Data availability as supply feature

Extended manufacturer obligations increasingly land as data-delivery obligations in your supply contracts — response times and completeness become contract KPIs.

One dataset, many passports

Your material data lands in every customer passport — maintained in one place.

Cell, BMS, electrolyte, separator, housing and raw-material suppliers are asked for the same data every day, every time in a different Excel template. Batteriepasswerk structures your master dataset once and exposes it to your customers via a controlled self-service link.

How we help

Three building blocks built for suppliers.

Self-service link per customer

Every customer gets their own link with their own visibility level. What you don't want to share stays hidden. What you share is always current.

Upload certificates once, reuse the data points

Upload conformity, REACH and LCA reports once. Relevant values are extracted via OCR/AI into the data model and made available to every customer link instantly.

Audit trail across versions and customers

Which version was released, when, to which customer? Three clicks. Audit mode for authorities built in.

Recommended configuration

For suppliers: Starter or Pro.

Anyone serving 1–3 material positions and fewer than 5 customers starts in Starter. With more customers, more positions and a dedicated audit trail, move to Pro.

FAQ · Suppliers

What suppliers ask most.

Usually not directly. The passport obligation falls on the placer of the final battery. As a component or material supplier you are however required to provide your customer with the data for their passport and their Annex X due-diligence — complete, traceable and in a suitable format.
If you use Batteriepasswerk: no. You maintain your material and component data once per DIN DKE SPEC 99100 and expose it to every customer via a controlled link. Depth and visibility are controllable per customer.
Confidential fields can be masked or only revealed to released roles. The default is: authorities and recyclers see the regulatory fields, commercial fields stay between you and your customer.
Yes. If you sell components under your own brand or as a re-branding partner, you generate your own battery passports from the same master data — without duplicate work.

One answer, many customers — set up your first self-service link for free.

Create the master data, configure visibility, share your first material. No contract, no setup fee — face the next request with calm.
