"Geist", "Hanken Grotesk", system-ui, sans-serifHow Batteriepasswerk looks, sounds and gets embedded by others. Every file, colour value and code snippet on this page is yours to use without asking, as long as you follow the rules below.
The mark is a battery passport: the cell body with its contact tab, the data fields inside it as a grid. Two fields sit in amber - the values the passport makes public. Wordmark and symbol exist on their own and as a lockup.
The default. Symbol plus wordmark on light surfaces - web, documents, slides.
SVGPNGThe same spacing on graphite or photography. The tile drops away and the mark stands free in white.
SVGPNGWhere the name is already obvious: app icon, avatar, favicon, tile in a partner list.
SVGPNGFor embossing, stamps, fax quality and anything limited to a single ink.
SVGThe same drawing for dark surfaces.
SVGKeep one tile unit of empty space around the logo. A tile unit is a quarter of the symbol's height. Nothing enters that space: no text, no rule, no second logo.
The examples below are really rendered - this is what it looks like when it goes wrong. Please do not reproduce them.
Graphite carries, amber leads. The accent marks exactly one thing per surface - the action that matters. Used decoratively, it stops meaning anything.
Graphite for text and dark surfaces, paper for the ground. Warm neutrals: no pure black, no pure white in body copy.
The accent. In the product it is an OKLCH token so modern displays use the full gamut; in files and print it is a fixed hex value.
For data states only: complete, in review, critical, pending. Never as a design colour.
Exactly one element per screen carries amber. Two equally strong accents cancel each other out.
Text on amber is graphite, not white. White on amber does not reach the 4.5:1 WCAG requires.
Green, yellow, red and blue always mean a data state in our interfaces. They are not a second brand colour.
On graphite the legal text colours are white, #F5F3EE, #D8D4CB and amber. Mid greys disappear.
Two families plus a monospace. Geist sets headlines and controls, Hanken Grotesk sets body copy, Geist Mono handles anything technical: identifiers, keys, GTINs, code samples. Both families are published under the SIL Open Font License and can be embedded freely.

Sizes are fluid (clamp): the first value applies on a phone, the last one on large screens. Use fixed pixel values only where a surface really is fixed.
The name is one word, one colour, no internal capitals. It is never translated and never split in any language - including Chinese, where the rest of the site is localised.
One word, capital only at the start. All caps only when the whole line is set in caps.
Batteriepasswerk is a brand, not a legal entity. The entity is Muradyan GbR, Hamburg.
The name takes no article and does not become a generic term.
No translation, no transliteration. The wording around it may of course be in any language.
We describe what the product does and name deadlines and articles of law. We do not need superlatives.
Every statement about the regulation carries the line: not legal advice, the regulation text is binding. Please keep it when you quote us.
Neither we nor you may suggest that Batteriepasswerk certifies or approves a product. We publish passports; we do not assess conformity.
Three badges for your own site: for customers, for confirmed partners, and for product pages with a live digital battery passport. Pick variant, background and language - preview and code follow along.
Copy, paste, done. The badge is served from our domain, so it stays current when we refine it. Please keep width and height - without them your layout jumps while the image loads.

Show your own data or sample data. Third-party company names, serial numbers and suppliers must not be legible.
Crop and scale as you like. Compositing several screens into a feature that does not exist is not fine.
The interface changes. A date on the image saves everyone the question of which version it came from.
For print we supply the symbol and lockup at high resolution plus cleared product views.
The brand, logo and badges belong to Muradyan GbR. You may use the files on this page free of charge and without separate approval, within the scope described here. This permission is revocable at any time and transfers no rights in the trade mark.
“Batteriepasswerk” is a trade mark of Muradyan GbR, Irma-Keilhack-Ring 25, 22145 Hamburg, Germany. This guideline is not a contract and grants no licence beyond the scope described. When in doubt, just ask - we answer quickly and almost always with yes.
Questions, approvals, edge cases: info@batteriepasswerk.com · Imprint
One archive with everything on this page: logos in SVG and PNG, all eighteen badges, the colour values and a short version of the rules as a text file.
Font files are not included - download Geist and Hanken Grotesk from Google Fonts under the Open Font License.
Need a vector file for a trade-fair banner, a print resolution, or clearance for an edge case? One short email is enough.
info@batteriepasswerk.comYes. Customers, confirmed partners and the press may use the logo and badges without separate approval, as long as they stay unmodified and do not imply certification or endorsement. Every file is in the brand kit on this page.
Copy the HTML snippet from the partner badges section. It loads the SVG from batteriepasswerk.com, sets width and height against layout shift, and links to our home page. The same embed is available for React and Markdown on separate tabs. The partner badge itself is reserved for confirmed partners; everyone else uses the “powered by” badge.
Graphite #0E1116 as the base, amber #DD8A3D as the accent, on warm paper white #FAFAF8. On the web the accent is set as an OKLCH token; in files and print it is a fixed hex value. Type is Geist for headlines, Hanken Grotesk for body copy and Geist Mono for identifiers and code - all three under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.
No. The symbol and wordmark keep their shape, colour and proportions. Building it into another logo, wordmark, domain name or app icon is out of scope. If none of the supplied variants fits your case, write to us.
Batteriepasswerk: one word, only the first letter capitalised, no hyphen, no internal capitals. The name is never translated. The legal entity is Muradyan GbR in Hamburg - there is no “Batteriepasswerk GmbH”.
